"Mother of 5"
My journey into motherhood began at 19, in the warm and sunny south of Spain. There, in a country without the nurturing support of maternity care, I welcomed my first child. I was young and inexperienced, my hands had never held a baby before. I read books and thought I was prepared, but nothing could truly make me ready for the adventure of motherhood. Uncertainty quickly became my constant companion. Let’s be honest, your first child is a bit of an experiment. You try, you stumble, and you do your best.
In those early days, I realized how healing a little guidance can be. Especially with breastfeeding, a ritual that feels like a dance of connection until your nipples, within days, resemble a battlefield. Ouch. A touch of support could have prevented that pain from taking root.
And that’s exactly why I deeply value maternity care. It’s not just practical help, it’s a protective energy, a gentle hand that lightens your journey. It prevents intense pain and exhaustion from crossing your path and helps you embrace your maternal strength with confidence.
At 37, I’m the proud mother of five wonderful children: Dylan (18), Kailyn (14), Aiden (10), Jazz (5), and our newest little miracle, Oliver. He was born at home in November 2025, my most beautiful birth yet, peacefully in the bath, supported lovingly by my partner and my daughter Kailyn. ✨
